I hadn't seen this report before. The team at Optiro are sharp. Very revealing. So many barren samples.

...and some important insights, so the deposits are sparsely dispersed ribbon-shaped, not pancake-shaped. Lots of barren ground in between those ribbons too:

"The deposits are not believed to be direct analogues of the Witwatersrand conglomerates of South Africa."

"Novo believes that the closest modern analogue to the Karratha deposits is the offshore placers found in Nome, Alaska."
