If I had 100k of bitoa, and $6,000 in my bank account, I now have 100k of BIT shares, and $0 in my bank account. At the time I bought BITOA they were 2c cheaper than BIT allowing for the 6c exercise price. So even if the prices did not change I made 2c per option by converting to BIT, or $2000 on that amount.
