Do you really think that we will have to wait on Momoho to spark the head sharees higher than just over the NZ$ 1.50 ?
I don't think so.
The first thing that will probably gee things along will be the release of the March Quarter results.
Certainly the upward movement in the sp over the last couple of weeks has been the anticipation of the quarterly plus the knowledge that the oil price on the world scene is at record highs.
Once the actual figures are seen then that should push things further.
Then there is the prospect that NZOG may announce some development soon. Maybe some future drilling target could be firmed up.
Or there may be some further comment about a possible acquisition, or joint venture or something to spark further interest.
But once the drilling of Momoho starts that will help push up the sp before June 30th. It may be a good thing that the result may not be through till mid July so that it will all be anticipation driving the sp rather than confirmation (good or bad).
Now that NZ$ 1.50 has been attained several times in the last couple of weeks i think it will push up to NZ$ 1.60 soon enough. Certainly by the time the quarterly comes out.
