Hello to all and comment sought from locals
As a happy/nervous/slighty disgruntled share holder I have decided to take the family on a BRL discovery trip
The plan so far....
Fly into Christchurch on the 24th and get a good night sleep before boarding the TranzAlpine for the trip to Greymouth on Sunday.
The TranzAlpine is the train Journey our coal takes to Lyttleton. Correct me if wrong!
Monday Tuesday will be spent dicovering the West coast as we make our way to Picton to take the Ferry to Wellington for the AGM on Wednesday.
Then I am undecided as to whether I ferry and drive back to Christchurch or fly back to Aus out of Wellington
Local knowledge would be appreciated on the Greymouth / Picton leg travel options. Am i better off getting a hire care or can you bus it with jump on / jump off options along the way.
Who out there expects to be at the meeting
