I'd love to have a protest vote...as I think this whole thing has been poorly managed. I have some insight as to the amount of effort and focus it took Nearmap to get traction with sales...and I just can't see that from the current management team...they want out....they want to accept the known 9 cents and forego the upside. No funding plan is in place and the obvious investors have been exhausted. 2108 and 2019 royalties from EV are not expected to exceed AUD$5m per the IER. That leaves a very capital position and big losses coming up as they continue to spend trying to get some domestic customers. They have had the capability for some time...but don't seem to have the cash or willingness to really get some domestic customer revenue...for the first half of the year they only managed $153,000 revenues for data sales. Be prepared for a 30% - 40% markdown if the No vote goes through.
