Dropping the grind size is an announcement with some substance , guessing this will drop the bond milling index from around 14 to 8 , or put another way they will only need to have around 2/3 of the power output per tonne of ore processed they previously required .SO at a guess a saving of 6 kwh per tonne of ore(6 * $1.00 a liter diesel ) / 3 kwh per liter of fuel = $2.00 a tonne saving in diesel and another say $1.00 in depreciation/servicing my very rough novice guess or about 3 cents a pound of copper saving
Guess the advantage is somewhat lost given the Botswana power provider looks like it is going to soon have a power supply within 12 kms of the proposed process plant so there may not be a need for higher cost diesel power .
Anyway more fool me at open I bought back in some I sold a few weeks ago but the sp goes down after I buy.
