I thought my figures seemed a bit light for the power saving in $ , would like to know where I went wrong
refer to figure 9, its a graph of power requirements at different grind sizes for ore, yes this a different ore but the graph gives a general idea of making the ground ore half the diameter ie from 4 sheets of paper in width to 2 sheets of paper in width doubles the power requirement

If the Bond milling index halved then the plant power consumption does not halve it may just reduce 1/3 as ancillaries still draw much the same power ie pumps , flotation cells , conveyors so its just my own personal rule of thumb
