Recell and BTM are different. If you want to hedge your bets, sell some AVH and use the money to by PNV. IMO it is currently fully priced, but the aggressive buying by directors leaves me wondering.
Both are bets, both have different competitors, nothing is certain. If you want to wait for certainty, you will need to pay a higher price.
Recell competes with split skin grafting. In extreme cases, it looks like its worthwhile. Most skin grafts are relatively small, then Recell might be more costly and trouble than its worth.
I know surgeons who could use BTM in quantity tomorrow. I offered to put the company in touch with them 2 years ago, but was told in order to market it in this jurisdiction, they would need to have a formal distribution agreement. It was meant to happen in 6 months, then it got shelved.
Nonetheless, the market is there and currently nothing is competing. It looks to me like a good long term bet. Key words: Long Term.
