I’m out. No way will I stop eating beef, chicken, fish, lamb, pork, duck, quail, venison or any other meat I’m forgetting just because some other misguided/dishonest person does or says they have.

We have evolved to eat high protein foods.
It helps our brain to develop & even has an effect on the way our faces form as kids in regards to our overbite.

Halal is crud. The necessity for the animal to be conscious while being slaughtered only tells me one thing.

It tells me the people who came up with the system are from a culture that generates such untrustworthy people & behaviour that they can’t trust each other when they say ‘yeah it’s fresh mate- hook in’. Each village/family/group have to see it with their own eyes or at least have one of their people verify it.

I trust that the butcher who I’m completely unrelated to trusts the wholesaler who trusts the abbatoir who trusts the farmer.
