    The US government never ever supported the Nazi regime.

    Whether some of its industrialists supported it is another issue altogether and, if it took place, is completely due to greedy industrialists who placed personal greed above all else. But that has absolutely nothing to do with the US government of the day, unlike the German industrialists who were compelled to support the Nazi regime.
