Despite being bullish I can’t see how they’ll go it alone. Firstly don’t really have the expertise. If you need expertise, someone who has that and is prepared to have skin in the game would be the ideal partner. I suspect there’ll be more detail following the signing of the PSC which can’t come soon enough. The last CR was done in the name of furthering this development so makes little sense they’d put the cap out again so soon and who is going to lend CVN all that cash at this stage? Maybe once the “appraisal well” has been drilled and proven up, prospective partners will be lining up and paying a good price for a share in a significantly de-risked project.

I’ve no doubt it’ll work out fine either way though and we should be happy this shrewd investment was made in this field and has been developed to this point.
