Only negative I can see in the announcement is once again the anticipated 3 or 4 gallons per yard has now been possibly reduced to 1 or 1.5 gallons per yard. After all a sale is a sale, but would the boards future projections need to change? Obviously the projections from 2-3 yrs ago would all now need to be cut by 50-75% cause of the lower dosages that companies wish to use that seems to meet of satisfaction of the customer.

I wonder the reasoning behind the reduced amounts with customers, is it more of a cost saving exercise or something else?

On the precast side as well, Valley tested several dosages and settled on 0.5 or 1 gallon / yard (sorry, can't remember which). I suspect there's cost/benefit analysis going on... the improvement is so good with lower dosages that customers don't see the additional cost for higher dosages as necessary.
