FAA Reauthorization Act 2018

On 5th October, President Trump signed the FAA Reauthorization Act into law. The latest version repealed Section 336 under model aircraft and hobby drones were covered (protected). Now, the Dept. of Justice and Dept. Homeland Security the power to track, control, damage or destroy any UAV that poses a credible threat to people, property or assets. It will be interesting how this plays out, but hopefully this opens up the US market to D13 nicely.
