Excellent articles Treggs. A point I wish the Australian had mentioned is that you can deposit funds direct from a credit card. Danger times 10.

One think I would like to see Rudd do is to legislate the removal of the credit card depositing options in CFD's - as a start.
I did an experiment with IG. I was aloud to max out two bank credit cards (5 figure limits on both) straight into IG. I got a phone call from one bank only confirming the transaction. Couldn't believe it!! No questions - nothing.
Transferred it straight back out the next day and IG didn't even slug me bank transfer charges. Great money laundering vehicle if you ask me.
