Can anyone point me towards a Commercial UCG operation? I can find plenty of examples of trials/pilots and demonstration plants, however no examples of prolonged gasification.
I cannot help but think that there is still confusion over the actual gasification process and that this is also impacting price. The term 'Flare' has been widely used within our HC group (myself included), however the coal has not actually been set 'alight'. I suspect that many peoples' (including politicians and fund managers) have fears based on misinformation.
Perhaps LCK could produce a revision of:
