yep 100% agree and there you have right there a solid explanation for the share demise for holders to this point. Early evidence of the total debacle of the ramp up on spend with code red (all that was mid to late 2016 as I recall) and the major/leading shareholders with zero real skin in the game (even if they had the fortitude to see it?), to effectively do anything about it.

With neither the desire, or real power to force change, ie sack WP way back then. It was way easier to simply ignore it and sell out or not support it. And when they started doing that of course the BOD couldn't go to them for more capital and the rest is history.

I mean why would you care if you never had to pay one brassoo cent for it in the first place and it was only 0.000001% of your net worth anyway?

I mean I wouldn't. So I get any "non" motivation....

Without proper skin in the game why would they care? So they just sat back, sold out and watched the debacle...

They might have tried to force change..with the BOD changes early mid 2016... I don't know....does anyone?...will we ever find out?... But even if they did that, the new BOD was basically controlled it appears from my observations by WP himself... and had already set in motion the disasterous double down that became code red... WP clearly had the power and was given the 100% approval to go full steam ahead...

And the leading shareholders (even if they hated it) could do nothing about it, or simply had so little real skin in the game they didn't care...

    It's been cathartic this discovery.

Just like when the original penny dropped for me to sell out ...as I was driving out with Mrs G to Chaddie in ourToyota Yaris....with all that exposure to the stock...and I had to confess to her that she probably needed to cut back on her spending on necessities...as I'd taken a hit in a stock we were overexposed to.... that I believed was being sold off and not supported by a so called "founding billionaire" who was probably commuting around the world in a learjet....

    "We" Mrs G said?....

Um well no "me" I had to confess....

That was a very long drive back from Chaddie that afternoon...

    All IMO!!!!!!
