Requests for a Trading Halt have a standard format. The only variable is the nature of the announcement that a company expects to release at the end of the period, and unlike HC posts their wording needs to be well-considered and liver independent.

Last year the Company was aware of deficiencies in the clinical data prior to un-blinding (see 9 Aug 2017 release). At halt of trading it expected to be able only to give an update on the trial data processing, and a further period of suspension was required. This year it says it expects to be in a position to comment on the trial results and analysis by the end of the TH.
