Ouch - a 14% drop so far but on really small volume and x 28 transactions - not really massive exodus so far. I guess it is just a handful of retail investors that are spooked with the greater majority of shareholders still believing in the current strength and potential of CMP with a  positive outlook.

They seem to have been hinting there is still good growth opportunity in Somfit and surely having gone through this lengthy negotiation they are far better placed to decide on where they go to next and what is important so far as what is the priorities of CMP in any future Somfit deals.  

There is even a hint that Meinian might come back to the table to renegotiate as they are still very interested in this. When you look at the turnover of Meinian this JV is not a huge dollar commitment to them and clearly both sides have put in a fair bit of effort to get to this point. This latest announcement by CMP could be interpreted as a negotiation tactic (IMO) - time will tell but best to write it off for the immediate IMO.
