Agree that they are following something and it is likely the spot price (which also agree with you that this is not necessarily the best indication of true price / value).
I have been checking the Asian Metals Index that you referenced and it seems pretty rubbish. The lithium page is only updated sporadically and seems a bit ad hoc so I doubt that this is what they are following. I'm thinking that they likely have access to something a bit more sophisticated. I assume they have live prices of all commodities at their fingertips. Would be good to see what they are seeing. Especially when looking at entry / exits points!
Does anyone know of another live lithium spot price webpage that you can follow for free?
