Have any of you run the numbers on the revenue Aspire will generate from their Ovoot Early Development Project (initial road shipments)?
Did a rough back of envelope calculation...
* 100% owned Ovoot will generate 3-4 million tonnes per annum thermal coal.
* Newcastle FOB Hard Coking Coal 2018 price average ~$US215/t
* 90 day average AUD:USD currency conversion 0.72c
* Revenue = 3M x 215= US$645M or 4M x 215= US$860M
* Equates to revenue of AU$896M to AU$1.19B p.a.
Welcome your thoughts/corrections but by the looks of it, Aspire is going to be earning some serious revenue in the short term. Very exciting!
