Are VW serious about EV's or is it pride bringing out the talking heads?
The Volkswagen Group has made several ambitious claims about its effort to go electric since it was hit by the Dieselgate scandal.
- Sep15 VW: Very wicked? Everyone investigating Volkswagen
- Jan16 DOJgov sues VW for misleading on emissions
- Apr17 VW electric x-over available 2020
- Sep17 VW says "EVs still some time away"
- Oct18 VW "EVs as good as Tesla's at 1/2 the price by 2020"
Let hope they are serious, but based on recent history, they are starting to sound similar to SQM and MS.
