Fairly easy to from the chart what happens both before news is released and after news is released.
The company leaks like a sieve just before which is demonstrated by the strong candles in the week before and then there is a big sell down in the week of the announcement - which is making it difficult to get any momentum up. Although at the end of 2007 CDS was 0.115 from memory and now is 0.135 - investors have made 20% while the overall market has lost 20%.
The leaking like a sieve observation is not a criticism just indicates no news re SA coal this week.
