News: 88E 88 Energy Says Applications For New Shares Raises $3.6 Million In Rights Issue, page-32

Maybe I am a glass half full guy and will probably get burnt for saying this.......but I think for a company to raise $3.6m when the share price is at a similar level shows there must be a belief and trust in the company by many people. It is a lot of money to transfer and paperwork to fill out when you could easily buy on the open market....so why do it? To me it shows belief and wanting success for 88E....sure it isn't the $14M aiming for, but it isn't $0 either. Also, if it was so bad, the AIM would have smashed us last night, but it didn't.

I wish I had the funds to buy in, but with a new baby, building a house and having to get a second car, cash is tight.

I look forward to the next Ann to explain what will happen with the remainder.....maybe 3.6M is all we need to get us through to FO and beyond $$$
