Religion IS the main killer, most wars use religion as the excuse to kill their rivals.
if you tallyed up all deaths in simple war, and war driven by religion, you will find religion is the biggest killer.
i guess you didnt know about all these conflicts untill the US got involved? not realising they been going on for donkey years long before hand.
