Good point bratty - I'm unsurewhat the process is in that situation but i did find the below, which gives some insight into the depth that the MAO look into announcements provided to them. I hardly think they employ enough people with the expertise to cover the entire spectrum of listed companies on the ASX to go combing through every announcement they receive. Could well be wrong though!
