another factor with resource stocks is the strength of USD. As USD appreciates the gold/oil/etc price goes down.
As an aside, I'm not a big fan of the HC redesign. I can no longer see which replies are new ones, it's missing the blue flag. I also am not able to see the day's biggest movers (which is how I found this one, incidentally, when it jumped from ~17c to ~25c)
