Whilst I am strongly in favour of employee share plans and bonus systems, at the time I thought it was a pretty poor decision. Quickstep has only been at Bankstown a couple of years, not long enough for most employees to become locked in to any entitlements. Hence, not only have they just agreed to a remuneration package but they are free to leave if they can find something better paid. I just don't understand the employees nor managements reasoning. It sounds like there could be some history here.
