Lol Macquarie are exiting retail broking and financial advice. Look it up. They just laid off a heap of staff.
Why on earth would they want to take over a broken financial planning business.
I can somewhat see merit in them taking the platform customers off AMP's hand's though as they are expanding in this space... But the rest makes no sense.
