Following on from the earlier report in The Australian, SMH is now reporting that Morrison was being untruthful when he said Turnbull was not authorised to discuss the difficult issue of the Israel embassy with Widodo.
SMH goes further, and calls into obvious doubt Morrison's foreign affairs credibility, not to mention his struggle with the truth.

If Morrison keeps this up, he will not be leading the Liberals to the next election. And it is worth remembering, at the time he won the leadership, with Turnbull's direct assistance, Morrison said "it could have been worse".
