- that's the point! The board are there to hold management accountable, provide ideas, open doors to contacts, to provide wisdom and guidance, to play devils advocate and brainstorm ideas and assist with planning and strategy.

Also as the share market is largely about perception wouldn't it be a smart move to put key people on the board wIth a profIle?
