Just had a closer look at BPT guidance on Production on FY19.
Likely outlook ( my view !)
Jul Sep qtr 7.8mmboe (actual)
Oct Dec qtr 8.0 mmboe (forecast)
Jan Mar qtr 7.0 mmboe (forecast) subtract Otway 40% sale 1mmboe
Apr Jun qtr 7.0 mmboe (forecast) subtract Otway 40% sale 1mmboe
Total FY19 production of 29.8mmboe. 10 % above the upper end FY19 production guidance of 27mmboe.
To make the upper end guidance of 27mmboe, BPT production has to drop to around 7mmboe in the next 3 qtrs. Can happen. But at the rate BPT is operating, production is more likely to grow than fall.
