Given Vares is a brownfield site with outstanding infrastructure, pre-production CapEx I would estimate in the US$80-$150M range depending on open pit vs underground mining.  Most of the CapEx I anticipate for a mill.  Perhaps a refurbished mill can be procured and relocated.

Veovaca utilized off-the-shelf grinding and flotation circuit to achieve 92% Zn and 85% Pb recoveries.  Veovaca produced saleable Zn, Pb+Ag, and BaSO4 concentrates.  Should be no problem to add Cu+Au recovery circuit.  The only question here is if fine grinding should be utilized (higher capex and opex) to liberate and recover more gold.
