I am only fairly new to the company so I don't have the history and insight compared to many posters on here.

I do however find managements wages, as well as the recent loan debacle to be concerning. I have many small cap stocks in my portfolio and I see a vast difference between the remuneration of management. Some of my small caps can run on the smell of an oily rag, with management taking fees well below the industry average and putting their all into growing their company. Then on the other aide of the coin I have companies whose management are earning over a million dollars a year (between wages and stock etc) despite the fact that their company has been surviving on shareholders capital for years, some over a decade.

And interestingly this is often not even tied to the experience/prestige of management, some of my companies have internationally recognized experts in their field still taking a comparatively low wage.

There seems to be a wider worldwide trend where management are paying themselves at levels far beyond what can be justified, at the expense of shareholders, staff, and customers. This won't be the only company whose remuneration I vote NO on this AGM season.
