I think that part of the story may be correct , not too sure about the rest of the story ?
He was telling you no doubt of "gold fever" which has affected many an old prospector bitten by greed , hunger and the glitter of gold over the years .
Am not really into mystic tales false or true . I'll just wait for the facts .
