re: strong finish, u bidders all round - capman dynofish and joker
I agree - WPL can soak up extra equity from HDR and most likely the JV partners have pre-emptive rights on one another's holdings. So no need for a WPL takeover of HDR I wouyld think. A third (or is it fifth) party is more likely - someone like Shell or Exxon, but once again I don't believe its very likely.
HDR just needs to sort out funding and it will be away and up.
Joker - I think that funding and a reserves upgrade (expected in February) that puts Tiof at > 600mbbl would get the market excited. Also any decision by others to farm-in to say blocks 1,2 and 7 would be exciting. And a JV decision to fast track Tiof and Pelican appraisal, or perhaps fast tracking of Chinguetti development would certainly excite the market. Then there's drilling in blocks 2 and possibly 1 and in Gabon, and a farm-in by a major in Guyane. Wow - the list goes on!
Plenty more left in HDR with or without a capital raising I think
Cheers
