The difference is when using the buy and hold strategy your capital is tied up until the price is moving higher. If you, like I do, trade for a living its important to be liquid and have capital ready to trade. And also be risk-conscious. The market could crash anytime, no one knows and that flow through will certainly hit the ASX. Wouldn't want to be holding $300k and not be liquid enough to hedge against it.
Buy and Hold is totally different than Trading for income. My point was to only show the differences from buy and hold to a trading strategy.
