I believe that because the announcement was released at around 4pm and there is a halt period all trades stopped dead in their tracks. Therefore the trades that are usually conducted between 4 and 4.10pm could not transpire unitl tomorrow.
Very unusual occurrence i must say.
At least it kept the final sp at 23c for month end April.
