Solar farms are bid and fought on a cents per watt basis.
There are severe penalties for non performance, time, output and plant availability.
There is no scope for variations in these contracts, the certainty in return from a signed PPA and cost is what gets them financed. Doesn't matter if its not in the project scope.
Any force majeure clause such as inclement weather "may" grant you EOT but no monetary compensation.
RCR is a diversified industrial, it extended itself too deep in Solar.
