As wth all technical analysis it is closely linked to fundamental analysis. For mine they are umbilical twins and one can’t function with the other. (Day traders would argue differently.)We saw what happend after the news of the raise which added the momentum needed imo to get us back to this gap. I had hoped removing this from the equation would have given us a bounce but looks like the damage has been done. Now we need finance close to get us out of this mess. I am of the opinion this was/is instos (most likely petra)driving the price down to get set for a raise. Now that raise isn’t imminent it s anyones guess where the SP will go but I don’t see it going mch lower! As others have said and I agree though we are in a much stronger position now than in the past and I don’t think the fact that finance is so close and the SP is getting hammered is a coincidence.
Time will tell.
