Whilst the Labour Government is pushing the anti mining, no more exploration policy it is unfortunate that the National Party opposition is too frightened of upsetting their "green" supporters by coming out and saying they will revoke the legislation.They are trying to appease everyone.
NZ Gas will run out in ten years , no more exploration then start importing at great expense.
NZ will end up like South Australia with insufficient electricity to charge all their green electric cars and computers!
BRL need to promote how much they put in to the economy. Whilst Fonterra is their biggest domestic customer everybody are keeping their heads down about the fact that they power their dairy factories with coal.
