ERG USA is enjoying exciting times this month as the Washington DC Project received notice to proceed to the next stage. The Washington team, which is led by John Winyard, who commutes to the US from Perth on a regular basis, will be engaging new staff as the project moves forward. “This cements an already
great partnership between ERG and WMATA
(Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority),”
said Art Kostaras, ERG USA General Manager.On the West Coast of the US, both the San Francisco TransLink Project and the Seattle Regional Fare Collection project are reaching significant milestones. TransLink is ready to declare Revenue Ready for two more operators this spring and Seattle is moving towards the next phase of customer testing. The groundbreaking contactless credit card project with Utah Transit Authority, led by Project Manager Massimo Rolle, is already underway, with official contract signing scheduled for this month. This project, which is being developed by ERG’s Brussels group, is supported by an outstanding team led by Operations Director Wendy Rager. The Operations group supports all US projects including Boston, Ventura, Las Vegas and others mentioned above.“I am continually impressed by the enthusiasm, dedication and talent displayed by our teams,” said Larry Weissbach, US Project Director. “They continue to put in long hours and overcome obstacles to deliver a quality solution to our customers.
