Now players and fans can go from not buying BAL products, to still not buying BAL products. Sponsoring sports is a donation, and despite the perceived short term PR effect many lay people perceive as being significant, I think you'll find when you delve into the business of sports, it hasn't made much difference to spectator consumption of the product (Generally speaking). We can all ask ourselves, is tightening the belt regarding donations, necessarily a bad thing for BAL right now?
