Warren Buffet is a huge fan of companies using but back.
He is a fan of BB in quality companies that had the misadventures in the theoretical benefits of BB.
It gave BH the opportunity to purchase an interest in a company cheaply, and in some case, actually kept some companies afloat.
Allow the company insiders to take advantage of stock option programs while not diluting the overall EPS number that is reported to the market.
Warren Buffett has noted on several occasions that he believes employee stock option programs and buyback programs can be quite shady.
