Continuing the HE Bates love-in, I looked up his filmography yesterday and was amazed at how much of his output had been turned into movies & tv series.
I was familiar with some of them but not the extent, even some short stories.
My favourite is probably Love for Lydia, which if it were not for the protests of She who must be allowed some say in viewing, I would watch at least once a year.
But I wasn't aware that a short story collection, My Uncle Silas, had been made into a tv series in the early 2000s. Very amusing stories and I'll have to try and find that.
