This is why you need to import ore from New Caledonia instead of digging up low grade Aussie ore. They are using a $7 nickel price for their model, 8% discount rate, scandium credits where the market is limited. After all that fudging they are spending $1bn US to make $700m. With fudged numbers and no upside.

The nickel sulphate and cobalt sulphate markets are extremely attractive, but you need the right business model and high grade Laterite.
