One of the most important considerations when buying a stock is to look into the management team behind the company. If management has a track record of running the company with success by making good investment decisions then I would consider buying the company. With WCN unfortunately the management is not up to scratch. It doesn't matter that they have a 500,000oz JORC compliant resource, if there is no initiative to turn it into a mining operation or alternatively sell if to focus on other assets then one has to question the direction of management. Unfortunately on the ASX there are plenty of "penny stocks" out there which purely exist to pay directors wages each year. So far I have not seen that WCN is any different.
