Looks like AZM had the right plan with 99% of tenements unexplored by 2013!

"This exploration strategy has resulted in the definition of significant gold resources at the Hicks and Smarts prospects where RC and diamond core drilling by Azimuth (and previous explorers at Hicks) has outlined zones of semi-continuous gold mineralisation over a strike length of 2,900m and 2,800m respectively. Azimuth plans to build the gold resource inventory at Smarts and Hicks and other targets within 10km of existing deposits. Further targets are to be generated at West and East Omai utilising an air core rig. To date, less than 1% of land held by Azimuth has been explored.
Further work also remains to investigate numerous other gold workings and targets defined by previous explorers. Figure 1-4 demonstrates the potential for further exploration within the Guiana Shield"

240km of strike length is very long (see p6)
Hicks was defined as a super pit by Cathedral in 1995!
Looks like there are lots of super pits with very long strike lengths in the area & many have been trying to find them for a while -

"Also in 1995, Cathedral Gold excavated a pit, termed the ‘Super Pit’, at the Hicks Zone (Figure 6-3), adjacent to the existing Blackwater Pit previously worked by artisanal miners. The pit measured 80m in length by 14m in width by 3.8m in depth and approximately 4,000m3 (6,800t) of material was excavated"

"In 1993, Cathedral Gold Corporation (Cathedral Gold) optioned the Kaburi-Eldorado property (including the Hicks Prospect), completing an initial program of surface trenching, mapping and sampling, resulting in the excavation of 30 trenches at 25m to 150m spacing, and to an average depth of approximately 2m, over the Hicks Zone. This work defined a northwest trending zone of semicontinuous gold mineralisation over a 1,600m strike length, within a zone of deformation and alteration averaging some 44m in width. .... it is reasonably presumed that the approach was identical to that adopted for the Super Pit samples described below, however this cannot be substantiated"

99% of the TRY/AZM tenements remain largely unexplored in this well known gold mining region.
Still think there are no super pits here?
AZM & Cathedral thought so and TRY has been onto it for the last 12 months.
If Tallman/Ohio Creek is another large world class deposit or super pit like Omai (40km east with 5Moz) but with higher grades then,

    TRY will FLY again.
