Yeh I agree on point 1 but on point 2 that's not necessarily the case. Some customers prefer lithium hydroxide and others prefer lithium carbonate. Its up the individual customers specifications and I think it is good if ASN can produce both...we just need to get the carbonate to BG too though. From my understanding from what I have read and also from talks I have had with several MD's/CEO's of various ASX lithium companies I am invested in, and I'm happy to be corrected if I am wrong, the reason why hydroxide is being pushed as the best solution for batteries at the moment, especially in the Australian news, is that hard rock lithium converts to lithium hydroxide much easier and cheaper and typically brine is cheaper to produce lithium carbonate (well the South American brines at least).
