Silk road funding was flagged to be part of the funding mix from early on and I feel a preferred funding option. They are at the mercy of the Silk Road simply and obviously I thought because if it gets approved or denied it has a fundamental impact on how funding is achieved and the mix type. Funding can not move forward until there is an answer on Silk Road. Options are likely being explored to cater for both possible outcomes if management are doing their job but I would find it unlikely that WKT would announce full funding and ignor possible Silk Road funding.

Your point on 9 months prep is beneficial for speeding up information transfer and prep done allowed for a very rapid submission of paperwork to the Silk Road, so job well done. Funding application is a new clock. Unfortunately WKT prep has little impact on the time it takes for a third party to assess the information provided. It will help hopefully providing all information requested initially and speed things up a little if any additional information that is requested can be supplied quickly but Silk Road have projects from all round the globe to assess and the WKT application may be in a very big pile. No amount of prep by WKT can move WKT magically to the top of the pile for assessment. For all we know Tanzanian Graphite mine could be a very low priority for Silk Road where say infrastructure projects may be prioritised, we just don’t know, have no control over and potential can not influence to any meaningful degree.

I would hope management are being proactive and like the constant meetings and contact with the Tanzanian government and relevant parties management pre Ml they are doing the same with the Silk Road process.
