Nice words pa. Agreed, STO has a plan. kevvie gallagher has come in and his nuts are on the block after turning down the harbour bid. Looks to have been the right move. We have growth from the quadrant takeover, PNG is shooting the lights out and is a pearler of an asset. Printing cash!
The JCC pricing is solid at circa 10 bucks a GJ for LNG, US prices are 4.5 ish. Debt reduction and future growth drive SP higher. We have both. Reintroduction of divvies was a big psychological plus.
Yes the OP has dropped dramatically but its political. Trumpy even bragging about it on an interview.
Shale plays think Enron accounting so just a matter of time. The saudis have been duped, they'll slowly dial the taps back. All part of the cycle of oil and its political/economic argy bargy on a global scale. Santos has done well to get to here. no need to start doubting now. Coates has moved on (thankfully) and Spence and the new crew are saying and doing the right things.
There will be ups and downs but those are also tbe opportunities to make money.
Enjoy your weekend.
